Back to School with Britax: New ClickTight Technology

Touring NEW Britax Facility

Last month, as a Britax Latina Advisory Member and Blogger, I was invited to tour the new custom-designed facility of Britax. The fully sponsored trip* definitely felt like going back to school, as I learned so much about the car safety company. We also learned about the newest in car seat installation: ClickTight Technology. Ah! I am WAY too excited for ClickTight Technology in the Frontier90 and Pinnacle90 convertible boosters! If I wasn’t crazy about Britax before, touring the plant first hand has proven to me how the company goes above and beyond the standards in car seat safety. I wish all my readers could have seen and learned all that I did on this tour. I would gladly go back with ya’ll. I know you would be as supportive of the company if so.

Unfortunately, because of trade secrets, etc, I couldn’t take photos of the plant outside of our meeting areas. The new facility is massive and utterly efficient, as it now houses manufacturing, testing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, as well as all the office personnel. I had the chance to see the numerous tests products go through before hitting the market, in addition to the quality control testing that products endure on a regular basis. I saw where car seats go from parts to products under rigorous oversight, with associates moving from station to station to ensure they know the in’s and out’s of every product. It was fascinating, to say the least. Knowing I trust my kids’ lives in a company that goes above and beyond standard regulations makes this mama very proud.

The last time the #SafeConBritax team was invited to visit Britax, Sebastian was only 6 weeks old. I opted not to go, although it broke my heart. I have been working on this campaign for almost two years, and interact with these amazing bloggers often online, but it was my first time meeting many of them in person. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to meet a group of people, face to face, and click with them as naturally as you would hope. I was especially excited to meet Claudya, of UnknownMami.com. She is every bit of funny I had hoped she’d be. So many more awesome memories to come with these great girls.

ClickTight Technology Cheat Sheet

Britax has come out with the newest in car seat installation that will (OMG) make life so much easier. I’m thinking of when we travel or for people who are constantly switching seats from one car to another – this car seat installation technology makes the process easy without sacrificing safety. I played with the demo for awhile and was really impressed. Claudya timed me, and I was able to install the seat in about 60 seconds, without a single bit of wiggle from the seat or crazy yanking or tugging from me. The Frontier90 and new Pinnacle90 (which replaced the Frontier SICT – which is what Alina is in right now) are quipped with ClickTight. I want one in my life!
