We had friends over recently and instead of a regular ol’ snack, I decided to create Easter party food that’s easy enough for a mid-week playdate. Actually, all I did was set out a few ingredients and let the kids create their own Easter basket “recipe”! I had some things in our pantry and picked up a few items during our weekly grocery run to Walmart, who is sponsoring this post.
Easter Party Food Ideas for Kids to Make!
You can use any number of ingredients for your Easter party basket “recipes”, but here’s what our little ones used:
– Snak Packs Puddings: one Snak Pack single serving cup per child, any flavor you like! For an Easter party, you might want to get various flavors. All the other ingredients below you can find in the seasonal section at your local Walmart, but the pudding is in their regular place near the school snacks and packaged goods. They’re available in store and online, too.
– Hershey’s Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Eggs: these come in the sweetest pastel hues!
– Bunny Marshmallow Peeps: you know the ones!
– Nilla Wafers, crushed
– Mott’s Fruit Twists: these are great alternative to regular licorice
– Edible green sparkles

To assemble, all you need is some creativity! Easter party food is all about Spring time, so think of warm weather and let your imagination take hold.
My friend and I had so much fun helping the kids create their own Easter party pudding snacks. It doesn’t get any easier than setting out the ingredients and letting them create their own Easter “recipes”!
