I love making these Mama’s Momentos every Sunday, so much that I have included a drop down menu off the Legacy Building category. Going through old posts is like flipping through a family album that is filled with photo memories and photo legacy. Imagery is so important in legacy building! This week’s collection of photo memory takes me back to our first trip to Atlanta in 2011 and a very important friendship I have.
The photo memory begins with this sweet pic of my girl in her very own airplane seat. My toddler on the move was such a good girl! We missed Daddy, but we traveled quite happily together. Less than 24 hours after arriving in Atlanta, the girls were on the road again to Savannah, Georgia – a picturesque locale that I can’t wait to revisit. Once at our hotel, Alina and Ilah had a quick snack in their matching outfits. Our babies were so small! We enjoyed touring Savannah at night on our first night together. The next day, Jessica was a great tour guide in showing us the Savannah Historic District. By the way, I get emails all the time about my friendship with Jessica of From Marriage to Motherhood. She is an enormous reason why I blog. I love her, as she is as beautiful on the inside as her blog is on the outside. Which is why I hope these two sweet girls grow in friendship too. They were constantly asked if they were sisters while we explored Savannah’s River Street. Jess and I would say say “nope, just great friends.” But, after looking through these photo memories, I wonder: is there really a difference?

October 28, 2012 at 7:40 pmMy life would be even more blessed if we could share our days in person, not just over the phone! Obviously I love this post : ) I can’t wait for the next vacation that we all take together! There are so many more beautiful memories with our families that have yet to be made!!
