Dressing the kids up in fancy threads for the holidays is one of my favorite holiday traditions. Noche Buena is mandatory fancy attire, actually! The last couple years while living in Las Vegas, Daddy D’s coworker would hand down his kids’ fancy Christmas outfits, which was great because, though I love to see my babies all dolled up, I don’t want to spend a ton on clothes that won’t be worn very often.
And so, when on a recent trip to Walmart, I was excited to see a few really affordable and adorable holiday outfits for kids. My kids scored a couple very cute outfits for the holiday season. Here are some of my favorites….
Kids Holiday Outfits at Walmart
In the big girls’ department, there are several beautiful options for holiday dresses. From velvet to sequence to nontraditional colors, there are a lot of styles to choose from. I really loved this girls’ Plaid Holiday dress by George that has a thin belt and lace detailing, but ultimately went with this simple red frock (also by George and found in store). It has a pretty floral accent and sits just above the knee. It’s SO cute! Best part is that the dress was less than $20 and is currently on rollback!
But the boys clothes! This is where Walmart really made me happy! My son’s first 4 piece suit makes me want to eat.him.up. Just look at him! The cuteness factor of the Poplin Vest Dress 4 piece suit with striped shirt is off the charts. With it’s satin back vest and navy clip on tie, my dapper boy is gonna get all the kisses on Noche Buena. The pants are elastic, comfortable enough for the holiday season. I can see this outfit having longevity though, paired with a pair of jeans and sneakers. Or, perhaps I’ll make my son wear it everyday for the next year… it’s THAT cute!
Dressing up for the holidays never goes out of style and I love the outfits my babies will be wearing to celebrate the season with family and friends.
