The Search for the Wooden Swing Set

After a play date last week at a friend’s house, the kids and I fell in love with their wooden swing set. (I took this snapshot of Sebas swinging away with my phone.) I’ve been wanting to get one for our own backyard, so I asked my friend where she had got it. I was totally thinking she would say the regular toy depot type stores, so when she said Sears.com, I was shocked. Online? Ya, that’s exactly what I thought! But she said it was super easy – with free delivery to the store – and they had it built the following weekend.

That same night, I ventured onto Sears.com and there it was – the same exact wooden swing set my friend owned! I also found a massive selection of other swing sets and play houses. I found so many that I couldn’t decide what I wanted…

Sears had everything a mom could want to make her backyard ready for new memories – toys, furniture, tools, everything! They even have DSLR cameras to capture your sweet ones enjoying their special space.

I honestly had no idea that Sears had such a huge selection of items online. They have literally millions of items! Although we have a warehouse store not far from us, I really do love shopping online for the best deals. Until my friend had mentioned it, I just had no idea that Sears Online had such a massive inventory of stuff!

Imagine browsing a site that’s mastered the art of one-stop shopping. With the limited amount of square footage in retail stores, I’m excited to know Sears offers an expanded assortment online. Thank goodness for unlimited virtual space!

As of right now, we haven’t bought our wooden swing set yet. I want to do some measuring outside first to make sure we make the best decision for our yard. Hopefully by tomorrow the purchase will have been made and I could show you our upgraded outdoor space that is perfect for two little kids to grow up in. One thing is for sure though, I am happy to have an online option for this kind of purchase, instead of being pressured to choose from one or two models at a brick and mortar store. I love having plenty to choose from!
