One of the only things I felt we needed after having our second child was a double stroller. My kids are only two years apart and my oldest still loves to stroll. I really love Britax strollers, but wanted to be sure before investing in a double. I read lots of double stroller reviews online but when my best friend offered her in-line double sit and stand stroller, I jumped on it. You can’t beat free, but I was interested in reviewing the Britax B Agile double stroller too. Wouldn’t you know it, I got sick of those in-line double strollers really quick – they are horrible at maneuvering turns – and finally got my chance at a Britax double.
The main reason I choose this side by side vs others on the market is simple: The Britax B Agile stroller width fits in the average sized door frame, which I consider a necessity for usability. Also, since the Britax B Agile double stroller is made to handle kids from newborn to 50 pounds, it was perfect for my pair who varied greatly in weight. In addition, the quick fold design makes it easy to get the stroller in and out of the car. A MUST for a busy Mom. Here’s my complete Britax B Agile review of their awesome side-by-side double stroller….
Britax B Agile Double Stroller Review
Delivery day was so exciting and we ripped open the Britax box as soon as it arrived on our doorstep! My first thought while pulling the stroller out of the box was how light and compact it was for being a double stroller. I was impressed to find out that it was truly not much wider than a single stroller. After installing the wheels and canopy {simple snaps here and there}, Alina jumped right in and I instantly noticed how huge the shades were! The stroller comes equip with two enormous sun shades with mesh ventilation that you can easily flip open, giving you viewing access to the kids. Daddy D always appreciates an adjustable handle too, since he is so much taller than me.
The B-Agile double stroller is available in two color, a red and this beautiful black that I choose. Mine looks exactly like this…
The same day our stroller arrived, I took the kids out to test drive our new beauty. Britax had convinced me that they could make a beautiful side-by-side stroller, but I wondered if this new design would function well in our day to day life. Little did I know that I was about to find out how poorly my previously double stroller compared.
Pardon the cell phone pictures, since I didn’t have my camera on hand with me, but I wanted to show you how much the kids loved the Britax B-Agile double stroller on the FIRST time we used it…
Yup, they both fell asleep, and STAYED asleep, within minutes of getting into the stroller. BOTH kids. That means I shopped to my hearts content without any interruptions. Can I tell you how amazing that was?? Each seat has infinite recline {meaning each seat reclines all the way back}, which was great for my four month old who needed a bit more support. You have to pull two straps at the same time to recline the seat, which took some getting used to. But once you have it figured out, adjusting the incline was a breeze. Each seat also has Britax’s infamous 5 point harness with padded straps that is easy to adjust with a no re-thread harness system. I love knowing that each seat of my double stroller is perfectly suited for maximum safety for two very different kids, from my big girl to my baby boy. That is, if Alina would just keep her strap on!
And, since both my little ones were knocked out, I was able to pay full attention to this double stroller’s great maneuverability. This baby rides like a regular Cadillac! All wheel suspension ensures a smooth stroll, while independent wheels allow for an outstanding turning radius. I can tell you honestly that this double stroller fit into every aisle, made every turn I attempted and did it all without waking my munchkins.
But my favorite feature of the Britax B-Agile double stroller has to be its deep under-seat storage basket that can be accessed TWO ways, from the back and by a zipper at the base of the foot rests. Simply genius! You have no idea how excited I was about this feature! The kids and I walk to a nearby grocery store a few times a week, and these little zippered holes make it so easy to pack in SOOO MUCH stuff. Believe it or not, I’ve packed in a whole weeks worth of groceries into that storage basket {plus the two bags I carried home}.
I completely recommend the Britax B-Agile Double Stroller. It goes with us everywhere, even traveled with us to California this summer and held up great.

January 19, 2014 at 7:20 pmHi! We have this stroller and are planning a vacation. We’re having trouble finding a travel bag to keep it safe when checked for our flights. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

January 20, 2014 at 11:39 amAaron, I haven’t actually. Have you checked the Britax site? When we travel, we always take one of our doubles. We keep the kids in it all the way to the gate. Right before we board, we fold and leave it at the entrance to the plane. It’s waiting right there when we come off the plane and we’ve never had any issues. Sorry I wasn’t more of a help and enjoy your travels!

November 9, 2017 at 11:09 pmHI , i was wondering if you used this for your baba when they were a newborn. We are expecting twins and have noticed that you cannot put two car seats in at once; we wanted to know if there was an insert or something which we could use to make sure they were secure and comfortable whilst they are really tiny.
Thanks
