Even after decades of beach bumming through my California childhood, I don’t have many wrinkles. 28 days ago, I started using Burt’s Bee Renewal fining cleanser, intensive firming serum and renewal day lotion with spf. The line also has night and eye creams, but I decided to stick with the products I knew I would use for at least the 28 days it takes our skin to renew.
Immediately, I felt the quality of the product. It didn’t sting or feel harsh to my skin, but it also wasn’t watery or lacking in hydrating powers. Does that make any sense? Basically, I like the consistency of the lotion immediately. I also liked knowing my skin was protected from the sun during the day.
Over time, I definitely felt my skin was more firm. I didn’t see much of a difference in wrinkles (since I don’t have many…yet), but I really noticed a difference in the size of my pores. It’s hard to see in pictures, but sometimes mom self care is not about what you can see on the outside. Rather, my skin feels great and I feel good about it too. Final thoughts: I really loved the product for 3 important reasons. First, the stuff works. No doubt about it for me. My skin feels more smooth and firm.
