The tentative date for publishing was set for last Tuesday, but things change sometimes. I know this as well as anyone does. And after the SUPER exciting news of their book deal was announced last Monday, I had an inkling that my post would probably get pushed back. Which is fine. Roxana and Ana {the editors of Spanglish Baby} are two amazingly supportive and caring woman. I could not be happier for their astounding success! I know their book will be a phenomenal resource for parents raising bilingual kids all over the world. You will no doubt be hearing more about this book here at De Su Mama.
My post is a continued look at personal identity and the challenges of navigating your definitions of identity with how the world views you {mostly according to the way you look}. I hope you enjoy it!
