If I Still Had A Baby: Adorable Disney Baby Gear

We celebrated Alina’s 4th birthday at Disneyland six months ago – I can hardly believe it! The whole thing about kids growing up fast… so cliché; I won’t even say it. I just wish time would slow down a bit or that I could relive certain parts of her early years. Becoming a new mom presented some of the best and most challenging days of my life. I will treasure them forever.

When Disney Baby asked me to check out their adorable selection of new Minnie Mouse baby gear at Walmart, I couldn’t help but walk down memory lane. Alina has always loved Minnie Mouse – her femininity and high pitched voice charms my girly girl – and there are so many beautiful pieces of baby gear available at Walmart. Here are some of my favorites of Disney Baby gear at Walmart:The Disney Baby Minnie Mouse Sitting Pretty 3 Piece Crib Bedding set is so girly – and I love it! Character/themed nursery bedding has certainly come a long way since Alina was born. This set comes with a comforter, crib sheet and dust ruffle. It’s a great deal on the Walmart website. Alina’s nursery was the same color theme and if my little Minnie Mouse was a baby again, I would love this bedding in her room!

The Disney Baby Minnie Mouse Coral Flowers Play Yard from Safety 1st (bottom left) is so much nicer than the pack-n-play we have. The one we have (and still use for Sebas) is the same size, cost the same price, and doesn’t have any of the bells and whistles the Disney Baby model has. I love the easy-reach changer most. For those early days when diaper changes are constant, it would come in handy!

I might not have a baby anymore, but this toddler boy of mine has got me thinking about potty training! Potty seats are so cute to me, for some reason, and this Disney: Minnie Mouse 3-1 Celebration Potty System from The First Years is about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! They have a Mickey version that I just purchased and will (hopefully) be used very soon. Pray to the potty gods for me, people!

Transitioning Alina to sippy cups was a momentous time for me as a new mom. She didn’t take a bottle – like ever! – and we went directly from breastfeeding to the cup. I was both happy and horrified to lose this part of our relationship, which is probably why I bought ever type of sippy cup ever made. This 2 pack of Minnie Mouse insulated sippy cups with one piece lid by The First Years are so adorable… and I love the easy cleaning part!

As my last little boy continues to outgrow all signs of babyhood and my beautiful girl ventures into independence, I look back at those days as a brand new mom with so much appreciation. Baby gear is perhaps the least important part of those memories, but having gear that works hard and looks great is certainly an aspect of them. As silly as it sounds, this stuff isn’t just stuff… it’s what makes up the background of my memories as a new mom.
